Glacier National Park Travel Guide
Hikes To Do
Avalanche Lake - This is one of the most popular hikes in Glacier and definitely a view! It can be closed to bear spottings so be sure to check All Trails or local maps before you plan to hike it. Parking can be crazy too.
Highline Trail - The most amazing trail! Totaling to 15 miles you can do all of it or do as much of the hike as you want and then turn around. It’s amazing the views you see!
Hidden Lake - I wanted to do this hike but it was closed due to bear spottings. It’s right across from Highline trail so you can always have a backup hike if needed.

Tips/Tricks:
Get to the park as early as possible, when we were there the park could have a line as early as 7/8am and be full by 9am
Be prepared and bring as many snacks and sandwich making ingredients into the park with you. Prepare to spend the whole day there and there’s minimal civilization or food spots.
Get on or in the water early in the morning, before the wind picks up.
